In August I shared tips about the Google Next button for reading blogs. Do you use it?
Have you ever tried a spend free month? I did, here is how I did.
The dining room got some new bookshelves, via the local thrift store of course.
And it was when I had the photo shoot for the local home magazine article. This is how messy my garage is!
In early August we got back from a little trip overseas. Here!
I still have to show you all the pictures from that trip and am looking forward to having more time this spring, so get ready for some France!
Fall of course brings cozy nights and warm dinners. I set up a fall table scape with new chargers and some turquoise accents.
I also turned a lamp I found into a terrarium for the guest room.
September was a mini old house lovers month. I explained why I’ll never paint our wood trim. Mostly because it looks like this ~ gorgeous in my opinion.
And I found our first old house treasure ~ white hex tile in the upstairs bathroom. Be still my heart!
In the fall we had our backyard hardscaped and I can’t wait to show you what it looks like this spring. I haven’t even done that yet. In October I shared the before pictures. Warning ~ they are the before pictures to end all before pictures.
The backyard updates included a post on how not to build a deck.
Inside the house I put marble paper onto the back of the bar cabinet in the dining room. I’m just in love with that marble paper.
October through December were pretty busy months for me. I wrote about real life here.
Our Thanksgiving mantel is probably my favorite to date. It was warm and cozy and I still have the marble paper frames up. Told you I love that paper.
A project I did for the dining room was to make a feather boa wreath. I love feathers and think they work perfectly in the fall.
A fall project I did was glittered pine cones. They are sprinkled throughout the house as we speak.
November is when the local home magazine I was featured in came out. It was my first press, so I was very excited.
My one holiday craft I got to show you in December was the felt mistletoe for some smooching time.
And last in this long three-part series is my holiday home tour 2012. I hope you’ve enjoyed it all.
Stay tuned for what’s in store this year!
