Decor Adventures: February In Review

Hello friends! Are you glad it's almost the weekend? I find time flying by so fast these days, more than ever and I can't believe it's almost time for two days off again. I said to my husband this morning, "It's Friday eve!"

I've not done a monthly recap here on the blog but since I get new readers sometimes, I thought you might want to catch up on what's going on right?

Here is what I did last month.

Even though it's cold out, I've found a way to spray paint and let my projects dry inside. A must for any home decor blogger don't you think?

One of my most pinned projects to date {thanks you pinners!} is my post on how to remove wood veneer from furniture. It's so easy, trust me you can do it, no special tools required.

Last month was also my first sponsored post via the BlogHer Winter Home Projects series. I wrote about three easy and affordable ways to insulate your home in the winter time. Thanks to BlogHer for the opportunity to be part of the series.

I also knocked out some projects to sell at the store where I consign pieces. They included a painted door and some cute silver chalkboards.

And lastly, my favorite project of the month was my seven layer silver dresser. This was the dresser where I removed the veneer and I tried glazing it. Fail! But I found a remedy and now it's living happily in our living room.
